Featured Speaker: Sam Wu

Sam is a co-founding partner of Innovation Capital Law Group and leads the Corporate & Securities Practice Group. He specializes in representing technology startup companies.

Sam's legal expertise and practice involves corporation formation, corporate finance (VC and Angel financings), mergers and acquisitions, licensing transactions and IPOs. He has lead $200+ million in private financing, $1.7+ billion in M&A and $750+ million in IPOs.

Sam graduated from UC Berkeley School of Law and currently lives in Southern California. He also contributes regularly to techstartuplawyer.com.

Startup Ignite is a monthly meetup and hack-a-thon founded with the goal of helping entrepreneurs work together and build a community. Our focus is on creating relationships and inspiring each other.

A typical event will have a featured speaker for an hour, followed by networking or working on your project / startup. Feel free to bring something to hack on or come to help others. Every skill set needed to build a technology company such as UX designers, developers, sys admins, biz devs and marketers are welcome to join us. We will make a conscious effort to discourage unsolicited offers (recruiters we are looking at you) unless they become a sponsor of the event.
